Wine & Cheese Restaurant was opened in August of 2009. Co-Owned by Leart Mezini and Ms. Xhupi, the idea for Wine & Cheese was simple...create a restaurant "Where Great Pizza Is Just The Beginning!"
Ms. Xhupi brings the years of tradition from her other restaurant, The Big Cheese & Pub in Cranston, RI to Wine & Cheese. Founded in 1968, The Big Cheese has been a fixture in the Cranston area for over 40 years. Ms. Xhupi brings that same tradition to North Providence with Wine & Cheese.
Wine & Cheese is casual dining at its neighborhood best. Featuring a unique menu of not just homemade, but handmade items such as pizzas, calzones, pasta, salads, etc., Wine & Cheese is a delight for the taste buds.
Wine & Cheese prides itself on using the freshest ingredients to create reasonably priced culinary delights. The Greek Salad features Wine & Cheese's original famous salad dressing recipe. There are 16 different types of calzones on the Wine & Cheese menu. And the pizza...WOW! Just mix and match toppings or go for one of the gourmet selections. The key to all this deliciousness...it's the homemade bread itself that makes all the calzones and pizza special.
Now with a refreshed menu, you can enjoy all of the Wine & Cheese favorites along with new items such as an Antipasti Board, Wine & Cheese's own Wings or Burger and specialty dishes such as Vongole Marechiara and a new and improved Kids Menu.
